01

Start with a garden

Sol Garden combines a growing garden, Garden Siege tower defense and real-time combat across four open worlds. Your garden, equipment and character progression connect these activities: plants help build your Siege roster, and gathering and combat supply materials for crafting.

You can start in your browser without a wallet. Guest progress stays on that device. Connecting a Solana wallet lets you use a saved account across devices; follow the in-game import prompt before moving a guest garden. Keep the browser data for an unlinked guest garden until you have secured its progress.

  1. Open Play and enter your Home Garden.
  2. Choose a plant within your available planting budget and place it on the plot.
  3. Return to collect ready yield, then use Coins to improve your plants.
  4. Try Garden Siege or visit Wildwood when you want to leave the garden.

Make your first plants work for you

Plants grow in real time and produce Coins. Check a plant's growth and collection state, water it and clear pests when needed. Weather affects growth and yield, and each species has a preferred climate. You can inspect plants before spending your planting budget.

Plant upgrades cost Coins. A plant can reach level 100, with an evolution every 25 levels. Spend gradually so you still have Coins for the other activities you want to try. Home Garden is your starting plot; Fae Glade, Crystal Grove, Arcane Sanctum and Necropolis expand the garden as your tier grows.

Coins, Diamonds, Golden Seeds and $SOLG

Coins are an in-game currency used for plant upgrades and activities such as crafting and cooking. Diamonds are a separate in-game balance used by features including higher-tier Mine extraction. Check each action's displayed cost before confirming it.

Golden Seeds power the Mastery branches. A Seed recipe uses three ores, three hunt trophies and three ingredients; completing it consumes the listed inputs and gives you a new recipe. Learning a Mastery rank spends Seeds permanently.

$SOLG is the Solana token used for optional purchases and player trading in the web game. It is separate from Coins and Diamonds. You do not need tokens to begin a guest game. The Shop sells game offers; the Marketplace is where players list their own tradeable items.

Prepare for your first trip to Wildwood

Open Character before you leave the garden. Inspect your weapon, offhand and wearable equipment, then equip the items you intend to use. Picking up an item and equipping it are separate actions; an item sitting in your inventory may not be helping you in combat.

Begin with ordinary enemies so you can learn movement, attack range and defensive actions. Give yourself room to move and avoid pulling several groups into your first fight. Landmarks are useful for navigation, but some are guarded by Elites or the world boss.

After a fight, collect the drops on the ground. Ingredients feed cooking, hunt materials feed recipes, and suit fragments build toward a particular suit. Inspect an unfamiliar item before selling it if you are saving for a recipe.

Turn a recipe into a gathering plan

Start with the recipe you want to make, then check which materials you already have. This gives each gathering trip a purpose and helps you avoid spending ingredients on a different craft by accident.

The Mine is where all 50 ore types are found. Ore access depends on both your Mine level and your pickaxe; a stronger character alone does not unlock a higher ore tier. Tier 1–6 extraction has no Diamond fee, while tiers 7–10 have a displayed Diamond cost.

Mining is a timed activity. Select the ore, begin work and collect when the work is complete. Check the Ore Bag before starting another recipe so you know what is stored. For food, gather the listed ingredients and use the Kitchen; a cooked meal's Well Fed effect is temporary, so read its effect and duration before using it.

  1. Choose a Forge, Kitchen or Golden Seed recipe.
  2. Compare its ingredients with your inventory and Ore Bag.
  3. Mine missing ores and gather the other listed resources in the appropriate activity.
  4. Return to the recipe and review its full cost before confirming.

Choose your next activity

For strategy, enter Garden Siege and defend the Heart with towers drafted from your plants and collected unique towers. Sap earned during a run pays for that run's towers and upgrades.

For action, explore Wildwood first. The later worlds open at character levels 26, 51 and 101. Gather ingredients, defeat monsters and collect ground drops to supply cooking and equipment progression.

For crafting materials, use the Mine. All 50 ore types belong to this activity; open-world exploration supplies other resources. Each ore tier needs the matching Mine level and pickaxe. Equipment is managed in Character, while recipes let you turn gathered resources into gear and meals.
